Restoration Log

  • Complete strip-down of the internal trunnions and cabinet to remove decades of sawdust and old grease.

  • Table surface hand surfaced to remove surface oxidation, polished, and sealed with a high-friction-reducing protectant for slick material feeding.

  • All elevation and tilt gears have been cleaned and treated with dry-film lubricant to prevent future dust buildup.

  • Blade-to-miter-slot and fence-to-blade alignment have been dialed in for true 90° and 45° cuts.

  • Capacitor-start motor inspected and tested for consistent power delivery.
